Sleep Out

24 Nov 2017

Could you ‘rough it’ for one night to prevent homelessness becoming a reality for vulnerable young people in Sheffield?

By joining our Sponsored Sleep Out, you will be helping to end youth homelessness.

Our 6th Sleep Out will be held on Friday 24th November at a brand new venue…92 Burton Road!

We are asking the public and businesses in Sheffield to get sponsored to swap their bed for a sleeping bag and a cold warehouse floor for one night.

The first half of the evening will feature fun, food and entertainment. From midnight onwards the challenge begins, as it’s lights down and into sleeping bags to catch some ‘zzz’s till morning when we’ll wake you up with be tea and toast for brekkie.

An event like this is not intended to replicate the realities of homelessness, but instead to help make a real difference to those many young people who face challenges every day.

Even the smallest amount raised will make a difference to our young people. From £5 which will buy bedding for a young person in our hostel to £5,000 which will house a young person for a year! Anything you raise will make a huge difference to the lives of some of the most vulnerable young people in Sheffield.
