“Staff at the Prevention Service are incredibly passionate about what they do”

We have received some lovely feedback from The Sheffield College regarding our Drop-in Advice at our Homeless Prevention Service. Carlton is our Homeless Prevention Advisor and he, with other staff at the Prevention service, provides vital support to students from the college who need help and advice.

“I just feel so compelled to write this email as I cannot believe the fantastic team of people you have working at Roundabout. I attended the Drop-in yesterday – it’s the third time this year that I have had to bring vulnerable students from the Sheffield College. The staff at the Prevention Service are incredibly passionate about what they do and the care they always show us is exemplary.  The past two cases were quite complicated, however, Carlton and Jonny are so experienced and professional that the young person had no idea that there may be a hitch!

The last time I went to Roundabout it took until 7 O’clock in the evening and Carlton stayed so willingly and kept up the banter all that time. The staff there treat everyone who comes through the door with the same attention and respect.

I also met the staff at the Hostel yesterday for the first time and was so impressed at the seamless transition for the young person. They already knew everything about their background and really warmly welcomed both myself and the young person.

Thank you for all the hard work and dedication of your team at Roundabout.”
