Thank you to all at Forum for supporting Roundabout, and to all their customers for helping to raise such a great total! The money raised will go a long way and takes us one step closer to ending youth homelessness in Sheffield.
Forum Kitchen + Bar, based on Division Street in Sheffield city centre, has recently reopened after a full-scale renovation, just in time to celebrate their 25th year. Throughout February and March, they are selling all coffee for just £1.50 before midday, donating 50p from every sale to Roundabout. To date, over £40 has already been raised!
“We’re really pleased that Forum are supporting Roundabout and the work we do in Sheffield,” explains Ruth Gage, Roundabout’s Fundraising and Communications Manager.
“Spending £1.50 on a coffee is something most people do every day. That 50p donation we receive means we can provide breakfast for a young person living in our hostel.
“The scheme has already raised over £40, so that’s at least 80 breakfasts sorted!”
The establishment is managed by the True North Brew Co, meaning that all their coffee is roasted at the True North Brewery on Eldon Street, less than 15 metres away from the bar. In addition, they distil their very own Sheffield Dry Gin and brew their own range of beers, all which are sold at Forum.
“Forum looks better than ever and we’re really pleased with the renovation,” says Amber Carnegie, Forum’s Marketing Executive.
“We’ve now been around for 25 years and are keen to celebrate this milestone by helping local charities that really make a difference to the people in Sheffield.
“Roundabout is such a worthy charity and we’re really pleased that we can not only help them raise vital funds, but also support them in building awareness of youth homelessness in our city.”
