Heeley Farm Volunteers create upcycled garden furniture for Roundabout

At the start of the month, we were fortunate to have volunteers from Heeley City Farm come to one of our new projects to help us tidy up the garden.

This new project in Sheffield will operate as a transitional house, providing care and support for young people who are preparing to leave care.

The volunteers from Heeley Farm helped make upcycled benches and planters for the garden, using old pallets, decking and even old roof tiles from their stables!

Some of our young people helped them clear the patio and remove tree stumps to provide a place for the new furniture.

It’s looking great so far and the volunteers will be returning very soon to paint the furniture and plant some new shrubs. We can’t wait to see the end result and are very grateful to the volunteers for all their help.
