Roller Blinds Direct donate to No 11

The renovation of our Number 11 (No11) project is due to be completed in the next few weeks and we now need to furnish the flats.

No11 consists of five self-contained flats with eight bedrooms, and is next door to the main hostel. These flats provide a safe place for young people to stay who have left our hostel, but they will have started or are working towards some form of education, training or employment.

We want to make sure that the flats provide a safe place accompanied with a high standard of living, to allow young people to progress towards independence.

Roller Blinds Direct, based in Grange Moor, West Yorkshire, have kindly donated several blinds to our charity to use in the refurbished accommodation, in a beautiful charcoal grey.

“We really appreciate Roller Blind Direct’s help with refurbishing our new flats at No 11,” explains Rose Parchment, Roundabout’s Hostel Manager.

“With their support, we have been able to complete the furnishing of the flats to an excellent standard.

“Without the help of our supporters donating furnishings for No11, we wouldn’t be able to complete the flats to the standard we usually provide.

“We have been fundraising hard over the last couple of years to make the flats fit for purpose and can’t wait to see them finished now.”

James Nuttall from Roller Blinds Direct explains, “As a company, we are always keen to help out a good cause.

“Roundabout is a charity that’s particularly close to our hearts here at Roller Blinds Direct, so we are especially delighted to be able to provide their centres with fresh, quality window dressings.

“It’s a fantastic feeling to know that we can help to create a peaceful and private home environment for these young people.”
