We’re very pleased to announce a new partnership with Sheffield’s newest street food event, Street City Market.
After the success of the first food night market, Street City Market is back with a festive twist! Taking place on 16, 17 and 18 of December, the event is sponsored by City Taxis and will feature a DJ, bar and various street food traders. The event organisers, Dan and Cherise Hatfield, have decided to donate all the profits of this event to making Christmas special for some of the most vulnerable in society.
To help raise both awareness and funds, Dan and Cherise will be taking to the streets on Thursday 8th December to spend a night sleeping out in Sheffield. Also taking part will be a range of sports legends, reality TV stars and entrepreneurs, including former world boxing champion and Sky Sports presenter, Johnny Nelson.
“My sister and I are determined to raise as much money as possible to feed the homeless and vulnerable people this Christmas, and make life a little bit easier for them at what can be a tough time of year” says Dan.
The Sleep Out is expected to raise over £25,000 thanks to support from the public and businesses. The donation from the generous siblings will be used to provide food and other goods this Christmas for the young people supported by Roundabout.
