The sky’s the limit for brave charity supporters

A group of dedicated fundraisers is set to take to the skies in Hibaldstow to raise money for Roundabout!

For one member of the group, Tom (pictured), his motivation is to give something back to our charity as he used our services at the start of 2015.

After his mum lost the flat they were living in, he moved in with his girlfriend but was left with nowhere to go when the relationship ended. After declaring himself as homeless to the council, Tom was then referred to Roundabout and moved into our hostel.

“I was at the Roundabout hostel for four months and they really helped me get back on my feet,” explained Tom.

“I was able to get back into boxing and I’ve had my own place for just over a year now. I absolutely love it.

“Without Roundabout’s help, I’m unsure how long I’d have been homeless for and where I’d be today.”

Joining Tom in the skydive is jewellery designer and stylist, Natasha Lyons, who supported our charity in December by organising the ‘coat drive’.

“We managed to collect a mountain of coats for the homeless in winter and it made me realise how vital charities like Roundabout are,” explained Natasha.

“I’ve always wanted to do a skydive, so knowing I could have the experience and raise money for Roundabout at the same time was an opportunity not to be missed!”
