Krazy Races

In 2026, Krazy Races is partnering with Roundabout to bring an unforgettable event to Sheffield for the first time, in support of our mission to end youth homelessness in South Yorkshire.

Krazy Races is the UK’s leading award-winning soapbox derby, bringing adrenaline, creativity, and krazy costumes and will be heading to Sheffield in 2026 in support of Roundabout!

Up to 40 teams will design, build, and race their own handcrafted soapboxes, powered solely by gravity. But this event is about more than speed, it’s a celebration of community, imagination, and making a real difference.

This free-to-attend event will raise vital funds to support Roundabout’s mission to end youth homelessness in South Yorkshire, helping provide shelter, support, and opportunities for young people across the region.

Date: Sunday 21st June
Time: 10.45am (Official event opening procession) – 5pm
Location: Barker’s Pool, outside City Hall, Sheffield
