Sheffield Creative Agency Donates £20,000 to Support Roundabout’s 50th Anniversary
We’re delighted to be working with award-winning Sheffield-based creative marketing agency Objective, who are donating more than £20,000 worth of creative and digital expertise to support our 50th anniversary celebrations.
As South Yorkshire’s youth homelessness charity, we’ve been supporting young people experiencing homelessness since 1977. To mark this milestone, we’re launching 50 Faces of Roundabout in 2027, a special digital exhibition celebrating the people who have helped shape our story and the lasting impact of our work.
Objective, a long-standing supporter of Roundabout, is generously donating its studio time to design, develop and host a brand-new digital platform for the campaign. The website will showcase 50 stories from people connected to the charity over the past five decades, highlighting the difference Roundabout makes to young people’s lives.
Celebrating 50 Years of Roundabout
Did you know we first opened our doors on 4 January 1977?
Our first hostel was on Upper Hanover Street in Sheffield, just off the University roundabout, which is where our name comes from!
Since then, we’ve supported generations of young people facing homelessness, helping them find safety, stability and a brighter future. Our anniversary is an opportunity to reflect on how far we’ve come and recognise the young people, staff, volunteers, fundraisers, partners and supporters who have been part of our journey.
Through 50 Faces of Roundabout, we want to capture the memories, experiences and milestones that make up our history, while raising awareness of youth homelessness and the support available to young people across Sheffield and South Yorkshire.

A Special Thank You to Objective
We’re incredibly grateful to Objective for donating more than £20,000 worth of studio time to bring the 50 Faces of Roundabout digital exhibition to life.
Roundabout Fundraising Manager Emily Jones said:
“The new website will form an important part of the 50 Faces of Roundabout campaign. Having previously worked closely with Objective, we know their specialist team will help us showcase our work to support the region’s vulnerable young people, whilst celebrating the lives of people who form part of the fabric of the Roundabout story.”
Objective’s generosity will help us share these important stories with a wider audience and celebrate the people who have made Roundabout what it is today.
Will You Be One of Our 50 Faces?
Have you been supported by Roundabout, worked or volunteered with us, raised funds, partnered with us or played a part in our story in another way?
We’d love to hear from you!
As part of our anniversary celebrations, we’re gathering 50 stories from people who have been involved with Roundabout over the years. Whether you’d prefer to share your memories through a video, photographs, a written story, an audio recording or another creative format, we’ll work with you to find an approach that feels right.
We’ll be collecting stories over the next six months and can be flexible around your availability. Depending on your chosen format, we may arrange to meet you in person somewhere in Sheffield.
Help us celebrate 50 years of Roundabout. Get in touch to share your story and become one of our 50 Faces.
