It’s back! The ever popular Game Swap returns this September!

After a slightly longer-than-usual break, Game Swap returns on Sunday 14th September from 11am – 2pm. A brilliant event that is a games-themed ‘bring & buy’ sale’ where YOU set the prices, and all funds raised go to Roundabout!

 

How it works

The game swap is effectively a games-themed ‘bring & buy’ sale’ where YOU set the prices. Here’s how it works:

• If you have games (tabletop or video) you would like to donate, you can either bring them with you on the day of the event or drop them off at Patriot Games or The Treehouse beforehand. Those who donate games either on the day or in advance gain free entry to the swap.

• On the day, the full range of games donated will be available for people to browse at Patriot Games between 11am and 2pm. For those who haven’t donated games themselves, there’s a suggested entry fee of £3 (this includes re-entry for those who wish to come in more than once – a smart strategy given that more games will turn up throughout the event!).

• You can buy the games on offer on a ‘pay as you feel’ basis, with a suggested minimum donation of £3 per game. Card/ contactless payments will be accepted as well as cash.

• We will be imposing a limit of three games per person, per visit to ensure that more people get the chance to pick from a wider range of games. Once you’ve bought three games, you’ll need to re-join the queue at the back and browse the selection again before you can buy more.

• Roundabout will also be running a raffle on the day with some great prizes to be won!

• All proceeds from the event plus any games left over at the end of the swap will be donated to Roundabout to support their invaluable work helping vulnerable young people.

We hope you’ll come along to hunt for some bargains, whilst helping us raise money to help Roundabout support young people at risk of homelessness.
