Krazy Races

After an incredible debut that saw nearly 20,000 people pack Sheffield city centre, we’re thrilled to announce that Krazy Races is returning to Sheffield in 2027 all in support of our mission to end youth homelessness in South Yorkshire.

Krazy Races is the UK’s leading award-winning soapbox derby, bringing adrenaline, creativity, and krazy costumes and last year’s inaugural event transformed the heart of the city into a festival of creativity, adrenaline and community spirit.

Teams raced their handcrafted soapboxes down a transformed Fargate course in a day that included live entertainment, street food, family fun and thousands of cheering spectators!

 

 

Now, we’re doing it all again and we want you to be part of it!

Whether you’re looking to build a soapbox, sponsor the event or simply join us for an unforgettable day out, Sheffield Krazy Races 2027 promises to be even bigger and better.

This free-to-attend event will raise vital funds to support Roundabout’s mission to end youth homelessness in South Yorkshire, helping provide shelter, support, and opportunities for young people across the region.

Roundabout and Krazy Races are excited to invite you to a special morning, re-launching the biggest event hitting Sheffield City Centre next summer – our thrilling soapbox derby!

Come along to discover how you can get involved, make an impact, and help raise vital funds to support homeless young people in our city.

Everyone who attends the event will be the first ones to be able to sign up teams before places open to the general public.
