49 years ago, on 4 January 1977, we opened our doors for the very first time

Since, then we have helped thousands of 16-25 year olds at risk of homelessness, providing shelter and support, and in some cases changing the course of their lives.

It’s not been plain sailing, and sadly demand for our services continues to rise, but we’re incredibly proud to have been there for young people across South Yorkshire for five decades.

As we look ahead to reaching our 50th anniversary, we want to celebrate the people who have been there along the way. Perhaps you lived at our hostel in the ‘70s, or volunteered as a support worker or worked as a night warden? Maybe someone close to you has been touched by Roundabout’s support, or your relative was involved in our formation?

We’re collecting stories from over the past 50 years, to showcase the life-changing impact of Roundabout’s support. If you have a story to share, please get in touch on news@roundaboutltd.org
