Supporting Tenants works with young people who are either moving into their own homes, or who are currently at risk of becoming homelessness due to the fact they are struggling to manage their current accommodation.

The role will involve a combination of providing housing advice and support to young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness through our housing advice service and supporting young people living in supported accommodation flats to grow in their independent living skills leading them to obtaining their own accommodation.

The Resettlement Service Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of service delivery and contract management within the Resettlement Team, who provide supported accommodation to Looked After Children, Care Leavers and UAS young people.

The role of the Homeless Prevention Team Leader is to support the Service Manager in overseeing the effective running and contract delivery of all aspects within the Homeless Prevention Service, ensuring that they meet all of their contractual funding obligations and are effective in preventing young people from becoming homelessness. Rapid Rehousing’s role is to ensure that young people 25 and under who sleep rough in Sheffield can access local support systems. The role will coordinate with support services, and work with stakeholders to provide support, encouragement and advocacy to enable young people to navigate Roundabouts Rapid Rehousing service, engage in support and move away from living on the streets.
