Are you passionate about making a tangible impact locally and changing the lives of vulnerable young people? Roundabout is looking for a Business Development Manager to support homeless young people aged 16-25 in Sheffield.
About the role
This is not your average business development role.
This is a blank canvas, a big opportunity, and a chance to be right at the heart of change for young people experiencing homelessness across South Yorkshire.
As part of Roundabout’s Fundraising team, you’ll lead the charge in growing our corporate partnerships—connecting with brilliant businesses, inspiring them to get involved, and showing them just how powerful their support can be. You’ll research, identify and approach key decision-makers, opening conversations around Corporate Social Responsibility and creating meaningful partnerships that go far beyond a logo on a leaflet.
You’ll take ownership of our existing corporate supporters, nurturing long-term relationships, keeping them engaged with our work, and helping them see the real, human impact of their support on the lives of young people in our community. At the same time, you’ll be out there building new relationships—motivating companies to fundraise with us, sponsor events, or become long-term partners in our mission.
Creativity is key. Whether it’s developing imaginative fundraising ideas, supporting businesses to run their own initiatives, or bringing fresh energy to exciting events like Krazy Races in Sheffield, you’ll be encouraged to think big and try new things. With Roundabout heading into a landmark anniversary year in 2027, this is a hugely exciting moment to join the charity and help shape its future.
We’re looking for someone with experience in business development, sales, account management or a similar relationship-focused role—someone confident in approaching senior stakeholders and passionate about building meaningful, lasting partnerships. Most importantly, you’ll be a natural ambassador for Roundabout: enthusiastic, values-driven, and genuinely motivated by making a difference.
This role plays a vital part in growing Roundabout’s corporate income and ensuring the long-term sustainability of our work—so that more young people can have a safe place to live, support to rebuild their lives, and hope for the future.
If you love building relationships, have a head full of ideas, and want your work to genuinely matter—we’d love to hear from you.
