This role is integral to Roundabout’s maintenance team, and our goal to provide high quality accommodation to young people. The main focus of this role is to support with preparing empty properties by managing stock control, completing inventories and ensuring that properties are well equipped and ready for a young person to move into – this includes stocking properties with household essentials, and presenting properties in a clean and welcoming way. This role is part of the maintenance team and you will work with internal and external colleagues to arrange access for repairs and maintenance, re-decoration, cleaning and replacement of stock alongside support teams to meet the accommodation needs of vulnerable young people.

This is a hands-on, creative role where you’ll help bring Roundabout’s work to life through social media, photography, video, design, and storytelling. You’ll spend time visiting services and attending fundraising events, capturing real stories and moments that demonstrate the impact of our work. You’ll create engaging content, spot new trends, design eye-catching graphics, and help grow our online community!

Supporting Tenants works with young people who are either moving into their own homes, or who are currently at risk of becoming homelessness due to the fact they are struggling to manage their current accommodation.
As a tenancy support worker, you will work as part of a team to provide intensive and structured one to one support to a caseload of young people and young families using a strength-based approach to achieve the goal of sustaining their accommodation.
The role involves developing the skills and confidence of young people and empowering them to achieve identified goals and maximise independence within the timeframe for support. The role involves some lone working with young people some with a variety of multiple and complex needs.
