Scarlett Kirwan
Scarlett is a rising force in the music scene, weaving together the heartfelt storytelling of folk with the irresistible hooks of pop to create a sound that’s entirely her own. With a voice often described as “magical” and melodies that linger long after the final note, she captivates audiences wherever she goes. Scarlett spent her childhood always humming and singing, and creating her own musical chaos. Scarlett first picked up a guitar at the age of 11, and within months she’d graced the stage of a local folk club. Her songwriting explores the rollercoaster of being a 19 year old girl, and digging deep into her insecurities, relationships and stories that many will find relatable.
Meet ScarlettNeighbourhood Voices
Neighbourhood Voices was founded by Gina Walters (she/her) (Before Breakfast) in 2017. Inspired by female-led, modern pop and indie choirs such as Deep Throat Choir and Lips, Gina wanted to create a safe space for Sheffield singers to find their own voices. We are a contemporary, secular choir that sings a range of pop, indie and alternative music. We welcome female identifying, trans and non-binary singers over 18 years of age, from any and all cultures, communities, neurotypes and backgrounds. We are LGBTQ+ friendly and actively working towards making our gigs and rehearsal space as accessible to all as possible.
Meet Neighbourhood VoicesSheffield Samba Band
Sheffield Samba Band have been going since the early 2000s, bringing the sounds of samba drumming and rhythms to local communities. We’ve grown and evolved over the years but our agenda has always been big beats, big smiles, big energy…. And lots of pink! From our unmissable presence at local lantern processions, outdoor dance events, festivals and carnivals (of course!) to owning the stage in pubs and clubs, Sheffield Samba Band have been spreading the love for our unique party-mad samba style on the Sheffield music scene and beyond. In short, we’re very pink, very loud and madder than a bag of ferrets!
Meet SSBRazzamataz
At Razzamataz Theatre Schools, our mission has always been simple: to unlock potential. Every class, every performance, and every interaction is designed to give children and young people the confidence, creativity, and skills that will stay with them for life. Creating Confident Futures isn’t just a strapline—it’s who we are. Our unique curriculum offers classes in dance, singing and acting and covers the commercial elements of street dance, screen acting and pop singing as well as traditional Broadway and West End musical theatre. We are thrilled to have been invited to perform at the Krazy Races in support of such an amazing cause and we can’t wait to share the day with you all and give you an insight into our fantastic students!
