You will undertake multi-agency work to support young people to access other services in line with their needs and goals for the future. You will be based in a 24/7 support service working on a rota basis – this includes evening and weekends as required. The role will require some bank holiday working too.
You will be the first point of contact for young people and also manage a case load where you will provide one-to-one support by tailoring the support to their individual needs. We aim to support young people to find employment, undertake training, cultivate positive social circles and develop the necessary skills to maintain accommodation and independence, ultimately avoiding a return to homelessness.

At Group Living we support young people aged 16-18 who are Looked After Children and Care Leavers. We are a residential service, with each of our projects housing up to 6 young people. We are a 24/7 staffed service, enabling us to build a safe and homely environment and provide the security and understanding that our residents need. During their time at group living, we support our residents to develop their living skills to work towards moving on to their own property.
This role is central to ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and development of young people, while maintaining a safe, compliant, and well-managed environment. It requires vigilance, professionalism, teamwork, and the ability to provide remote out-of-hours support, all underpinned by Social Care guidance and organisational standards.
