Students…donate it, don’t waste it!

We are pleased to announce that Roundabout is one of the chosen charities of the University of Sheffield! Students at the university are being encouraged to donate all their unwanted items to our charity.

With many students being enrolled on courses that requires them to study abroad, staff at the university are finding that a huge quantity of items are left behind in accommodation. They are now encouraging these items to be bagged up and be donated to Roundabout, instead of being left behind or thrown away.

We are always in need of items at Roundabout, whether it’s household items to give to our young people or CDS, DVDs, books and clothing for our charity shop.

“Our shop is proving extremely popular but that popularity means we always need fresh stock to keep our shelves full of bargains,” said our Fundraising and Communications Manager Ruth Gage. “Unfortunately, we can’t take electronic items or bedding for health and safety reasons, but welcome donations of everything else!”
