Private Renting Service

Private Renting Service

Roundabout’s Private Renting Service supports young people in Sheffield to live independently in private sector tenancies.

Our Private Rented Workers offer practical support to help young people find a suitable home and develop their independent living skills. We provide financial advice, and help them to build the vital life skills and the confidence they need to lead successful independent lives.

They are supported to look after their home, respect their neighbours, save for future housing costs and make a success of their tenancy.

We also have a small grant fund, to help with the cost of a young person’s new home if necessary.

This service is funded through the End Youth Homelessness Housing Fund.

In 2022, we helped 33 young people and their children at risk of homelessness find their new home in the private rented sector.
